As the marketing and media associate, Sophia Navarro helps connect audiences with the Tribune’s journalism and events. Before joining the Tribune full time in 2025, she worked as a contractor and served as an engagement fellow in 2023. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism and has also interned at Texas Monthly. Sophia was born and raised in El Paso and speaks Spanish. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, getting lost in a good book and exploring the best coffee spots.
